  • Drinking Window: 2025 - 2031 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 93 RP, 92 JS Region: VT Castilla-Leon ABV: 13.00% "Fresh and sharp whisper born from a small harvest, definded by frosts that imparted character. It is not just a verdejo: with its chalky minerality and freshness that awakens the senses, it invites you to a savour it leisurely. Its long, dry finish lingers playfully on the palate, like an irreverent wink for those who enjoy with style. A serious, elegant white and deliciously daring". Do not let this price point question the quality of the wine, with 60%of the juice being made from 100 to 200 year old vines and entering the summer months, this wine is certain to be a crowd pleaser." – Luis Guitierrez - Wine Advocate: June 2025
  • Drinking Window: 2027 - 2035 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 JD Region: Ribera del Duero ABV: 15.00% "Its truly a beautiful expression of variety, vintage, and site, reaching perfection. Impeccable, polished and magnificent wine with a lifespan of 18 years". Crafted from 100% tempranillo, dark fruit rules the roost in this well balanced wine. On the nose macerated plums, black cherries and blackberries intermingle with sweet spices, black pepper, cocoa, vanilla and tobacco leaf from the oak, with hints of cedar wood, earth and graphite also coming through. Intense and concentrated on the palate, it's a powerful, complex and multi-layered wine with high acid, sweet fine-grained tannins, and a long finish." * Jeb Dunnuck

With elegance, power, firmness, and silkiness, the wine on the palate immediately cuts a wide swatch across your palate. All that regal, ripe, sweet, fruit and crushed gravel stick with you almost seamlessly for more than 50 seconds until you reach the endnote with salty, mineral-driven kick in the endnote. This is a fabulous Latour that will age for decades." * Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: July 2022

Elegant hints of earth, wet stone and oak on the nose, reminiscent of chocolate powder, black elderberries and some mint after a little airing. Pithy on the palate, with tight-knit, grippy tannins, lots of juiciness, shows good tension, on the graphite, shows vertical progression, powerful finish." * Falstaff - Tasted: Sept. 2025

Quite a memorable nose, lots of juicy fruit, especially cassis and blueberry, with some smokey notes in the background. Fresh and surprisingly juicy on the palate, grippy, with very well- integrated tannins, good tension, lingers well, a bottle that you simply love to empty!" * Falstaff - Tasted: Oct.2022
  • Drinking Window: 2033 - 2043 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 96 JM Region: Morey - St - Denis - Monts ABV: 13.5 - 14% "No malolactic fermentation so far at all, not sulphured, and will probably therefore get to the bottle without Malo taking place. In which case, the Monts Luisants will be filtered for security. Pure and clean colour, with a particularly complex bouquet, some lime blossom, some greengage, and some earthier notes. White fruit on the palate, with a crisp mineral thread, liverly at the finish, indeed a superb finish. I would keep it like this, so let's hope the Malo does not happen. Fuller bodied than the excellent 2021, but just as good." * Jasper Morris, Inside Bordeaux - Tasted: Nov. 2023

A well-balanced hit of acidity energizes the palate, driving to a refreshing finish." * Chris Carpenter - Wine Maker

The bouquet is really fine, speaking more of the terroir than its grape (100% Aligote). Crystalline purity yet with a little flesh behind. Becomes sharper on the palate but a question of youth. Will develop some greengage character later. Really very smartly made. This will be a great success." * Jasper Morris, Inside Bordeaux - Tasted: Nov. 2022

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder offers up fabulous spice notes, ranging from cinnamon and clove to anise and sage, all layered atop a dark-fruited base of black cherries and cassis. Full-bodied, concentrated and rich, yet silky smooth, this is tannic but ripe and polished, balanced and long on the finish. Maybe the strongest of the Lokoya bottlings this year?" * Joe Czerwinski , Wine Advocate - Tasted: Oct. 2025

Veeder boasts abundant aromas of blueberry pie, ink, violets, burning embers, and camphor. The staggeringly intense, provocatively complex aromatics are followed by a full-bodied wine with exquisite concentration as well as a stunningly pure texture. One of the most prodigious 2007 Cabernets I tasted, it should provide magical drinking in 5-6 years, and last for three decades or more." * Robert Parker - Tasted: Dec. 2009

The palate is mouth-filling, both vibrant and opulent, with an exceptionally fine bead and enduring finish. This wine shows its pedigree from our Le Rêve Cuvée, with elegant structure and depth of flavor revealing itself behind the fresh entry." * Winemaker's Tasting Notes

"The 2016 Cardinale Red Wine is a thrilling blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot crafted by superstar winemaker, Chris Carpenter. the wine was aged in 100% French oak (93% new) for twenty months before bottling. The stunning aromatics almost catch you off guard. Deep aromatics of creme de cassis, graphite, creosote, and blackberry compote all come together seamlessly in the glass. The freshness and intensity of wine is gorgeous, as the silky mouthfeel makes the wine effortlessly glide across the mid-palate. Deep dark fruits collide with chocolate covered espresso bean, tar and anise flavors all marvelously sing in unison on the palate. A truly stunning heavy hitter of a wine, the 2016 Cardinale Red Wine will be very long-lived." * Owen Bargreen - Tasted: Feb 2020

"An excellent wine, even if not a great Dominus, the 2020 Dominus delivers waves of dark fruit—think predominantly cassis. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc, it's full-bodied and richly textured, perhaps a bit warm and open-knit because of the summer's heat, but with a long, velvety finish attractively tinged with mocha and dark chocolate." * Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate - Tasted: June 2023

"A terrific effort from a challenging vintage, Chappellet's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill—94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Petit Verdot—boasts expressive scents of cassis, blackberries, vanilla and caramel. It's full-bodied, supple, generous, deep and round, expansive on the palate and framed by soft, fully ripe tannins and hints of mocha on the lingering, velvety finish. Showy, impressive and delicious, it should drink well for a couple of decades." * Joe Czewinski, Wine Advocate - Tasted: Feb. 2025

"What must be one of the finest renditions of this wine, the 2021 Cardinale is composed of nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon at 91% with the remainder being Merlot. Stored in 80% new French oak before bottling, this is a massive beast. A brilliant mélange of blackberry combine with tar, graphite, anise and creme de cassis on the plate. Big and round, with refined tannins and a generous mouthfeel, everything is firing on all cylinders." * Owen Bargreen - Tasted: Nov. 2024

"Extraordinary and opulent, this densely concentrated, luxuriously textured flagship Napa wine by Florence and Daniel Cathiard of Bordeaux is their first vintage from the former Flora Springs Property. The wine is softly saturated with black currants, blueberries, spearmint and black olives for a comforting, mouth-filing expression that is at once powerful and gentle. It feels layered, deep and creamy." * Wine Enthusiast - Tasted: Sept. 2023

"Very pure and precise, this has great elegance on the medium-bodied palate. Still tightly wound, but the intensity and refined chalky minerality in the tense, superlong finish are stunning. With aeration, a wonderfully subtle aroma of orange blossoms emerges. From a 0.25 hectare vineyard planted in the 1970's. From biodynamically grown grapes. Unfiltered and unfined. Drinkable now but best from 2026." * James Suckling

Scents of game, leather, moss, and even truffle, Sustained red structured, this wine lingers in the mouth without flinching. It has just the right balance between body and fruit. With its rounded tannins and mouth-filling generosity." * Winery Notes

Made for the ages, but relatively accessible already. Enormously concentrated, but still light on its feet. You really feel that this must have come from a very stony site; those wines can be austere, but this is not. Very limited production. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold." * James Suckling
