“What must be one of the finest renditions of this wine, the 2021 Cardinale is composed of nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon at 91% with the remainder being Merlot. Stored in 80% new French oak before bottling, this is a massive beast. A brilliant mélange of blackberry combine with tar, graphite, anise and creme de cassis on the plate. Big and round, with refined tannins and a generous mouthfeel, everything is firing on all cylinders.”
