It is not just a verdejo: with its chalky minerality and freshness that awakens the senses, it invites you to a savour it leisurely. Its long, dry finish lingers playfully on the palate, like an irreverent wink for those who enjoy with style. A serious, elegant white and deliciously daring". Do not let this price point question the quality of the wine, with 60%of the juice being made from 100 to 200 year old vines and entering the summer months, this wine is certain to be a crowd pleaser." – Luis Guitierrez - Wine Advocate: June 2025

  • Drinking Window: 2022 - 2028 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 94 WI Region: Tuscany ABV: 13.5% "On the nose, it opens with a complex bouquet. Intertwining notes of yellow flowers and aromatic herbs. Ripe pineapple aromas are also perceptible, adding a fruity sweetness, accompanied by delicate hints of green almond and chamomile, which introduce a floral and slightly spiced dimension. On the palate, the wine reveals a taut and well-structured taste, with a prominent citrus freshness and a salty finish that refreshes the palate. " * Winery Notes

The palate opens with a sublime purity of fruit, silky tannins, and zesty acidity, so you will find energy, meshed with concentration and elegance. "Cassis, graphite, liquid violets, and tobacco all define the 2025 Château Brane-Cantenac. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a focused, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful concentration and depth, integrated acidity, and a great finish. Hitting 13.5% alcohol, it's a brilliant success in the vintage and should be snatched up by readers."  * Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2025 Canon is a total stunner. Deep and sumptuous in the glass, it offers tons of the vintage's textural intensity along with all the vibrant, saline energy that is such a signature here. Dark-fleshed fruit, mocha, new leather, herbs and dried flowers build gradually in the glass, leading to a huge, dramatic finish laced with hints of blood orange, pomegranate and chalk. The interplay of finesse and power is dazzling. Tasted two times." *  Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"The 2025 Clinet was the earliest picking ever, from September 4, and aged in 60% new oak plus 40% one-year-old barrels. Vintages now have a little more Cabernet Sauvignon, as a hectare of Merlot was uprooted. Now this has a delightful nose, perhaps the most elegant and refined that I have encountered at this stage: vivid red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry scents, neatly embroidered oak, more floral in style. The palate is medium-bodied with chiselled, fine tannins, bright and tensile, exquisite focus, with a peacock's tail on the finish. Quite crystalline on the finish, this is a Clinet that I would like in my cellar. Or at the dinner table. Or in my glass." * Neal Martin, Vinous

"Cassis, currants, smokey tobacco, chocolate, and graphite all define the 2025 Chateau Clos D'Estournel, a powerful, ripe, concentrated beauty based on 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot that's still resting in 50% new barrels. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, intergrated oak, and a great finish. It stays lively, balanced, and remarkbly fresh despite its weight and richness, and I'd happily put this up with the creme de la creme of the vintage." * Jeb Dunnuck

"The 2025 vintage - An anniversary vintage, A signature: The 2025 vintage promises to be an exceptional year; a warm, dry summer provided ideal conditions, allowing for an early harvest of remarkable quality. The vegetative cycle unfolded with great regularity: budbreak on March 30, even flowering on May 29, followed by mid-veraison on July 28. This harmonious progression allowed the vines to develop steadily, without excessive stress. Thanks to the soil’s natural ability to preserve freshness, the vines endured the summer with serenity. The slow and even ripening of the berries has produced wines of great purity, whose aromatic expression shines with clarity, supported by elegant tension and refined depth. The 2025 vintage shows remarkable balance and an elegant, well-defined tannic structure, driven by fully achieved phenolic ripeness. The result is a harmonious wine combining concentration, finesse and controlled power. A wine of character, built for ageing, yet already irresistibly appealing in its youth." * Winery Notes

"Deep purple-hued and completely opaque, the blockbuster 2025 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou checks in as 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot, all resting in 100% new barrels. The nose is rich and concentrated, with pure crème de cassis, graphite, ripe black cherries, spicy wood, and freshly sharpened pencil-driven aromatics. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a dense, concentrated mid-palate, ripe, building tannins, and a great finish. It checks in at 13.44% alcohol with a pH of 3.8. This structured, pure, and incredibly precise Ducru reminds me slightly of the 2010, with perhaps a touch more finesse." * Jeb Dunnuck
