"Red and blue fruits, sappy spring flowers, violets, graphite, and chocolate all define the 2025 Château L'Eglise Clinet, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc resting in 75% new oak. Coming from tiny yields with no saignée and very little press wine, the harvest ran from September 4th through the 12th, and the result is a rich, powerful, yet finesse-driven Pomerol with fine, polished tannins and a wonderful sense of freshness. It's going to require some patience, but it will undoubtedly be worth it." * Neal Martin, Vinous

"Picked between August 28 and September 25 (surely one of the broadest ranges in Bordeaux this year, but logical considering the estate's different altitudes and aspects), the 2025 Troplong Mondot is one of the wines of the vintage. Exhibiting a deep bouquet of blackberries and plums complemented by floral accents of lilac, iris and subtle spices, it's full-bodied, deep and dense, with a brooding core of fruit girdled by bright acids and sweet but abundant tannins. It will rival the 2022, though in vintage signature the two years are very different." * William Kelley, Wine Advocate

"Deep purple-hued and completely opaque, the blockbuster 2025 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou checks in as 79% Cabernet Sauvignon and 21% Merlot, all resting in 100% new barrels. The nose is rich and concentrated, with pure crème de cassis, graphite, ripe black cherries, spicy wood, and freshly sharpened pencil-driven aromatics. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a dense, concentrated mid-palate, ripe, building tannins, and a great finish. It checks in at 13.44% alcohol with a pH of 3.8. This structured, pure, and incredibly precise Ducru reminds me slightly of the 2010, with perhaps a touch more finesse." * Jeb Dunnuck

"Medium to deep, greenish yellow color. The aromas are restrained and creamy with pear fruit & hints of vanilla. The palate is dry, rich & full bodied. The wine has a pungent salinity a rounded texture and a core of Tropical fruit. Ripe pear aromas give way to rich vanilla as the palate opens, Alcohol adds a touch of warmth and roundness, but is balanced by the ripe fruit. The finish is beautifully poised with pure fruit & mineral acidity leaving a distinct lingering sapidity at the end of the finish." * David Allen MW

The 2025 Haut-Brion is, as usual, more reserved and austere at this stage than La Mission, unwinding in the glass to reveal notions of dark wild berries mingled with spices, pencil leaf and licorice. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and layered, it’s built around a multidimensional core of fruit framed by structuring yet well-integrated tannins, delivering a notably controlled expression of power and concluding with a long, perfumed, subtly ethereal finish. While still tightly knit at this stage, it possesses considerable depth—IPT (an alaytical measure of tannic concentration) levels exceeding 100, rarely observed—that is perfectly controlled and will require extended cellaring. Recent refinements in the estate’s approach, notably in viticulture, are translating into fruit of greater balance and freshness, even under the warm, dry conditions of 2025. It stands as one of the more impressive renditions of Haut-Brion in recent years." * Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate

On the nose attractive fine oak notes, red cherry, cassis, fine floral components and a hint of exotic spice. The palate is full- bodied, with fine fruit, silky tannins, a hint of nougat, very good freshness, perfectly balanced with cherry and saline nuances on the very long finish, incredibly seductive and inviting, with guaranteed ageing potential. This wine is already so inviting today that you will have to hide it away well or buy a lot of it." * 5 - 100 Point Perfect Scores! "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2025 Figeac prances out of the glass with a flamboyant perfume of candied violets, black raspberries, star anise, dark chocolate, and mossy bark, opening out to a profound core of mulberries, cassis, and juicy blueberries. The medium-bodied palate shimmers with a mesmerizing array of perfumed black and blue fruit, framed by very firm, fine-grained tannins and amazing tension, finishing very long with a firework display of mineral and floral sparks." * Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Palate

"A high-definition wine. Wow. The aromas are incredible, with roses, strawberries and crushed stones. So perfumed. It’s the magic of perfectly ripe cabernet franc. Medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannins and a firm and silky finish. Sublime length and mouthfeel. Cool, subtle, sophisticated and stunning. So much definition." * James Suckling

"Based on a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Merlot that's resting in 80% new barrels, the 2025 Château Léoville Las Cases is one of the wines of the vintage and just has an incredible sense of class, balance, purity, and richness. Harvest began on September 5th, the earliest ever for this estate, wrapping up on the 20th. Cassis, graphite, liquid minerality, and freshly sharpened pencil all define the nose, and it's full-bodied on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a blockbuster of a finish. If this doesn't make your eyes roll back in your head, nothing will." * Jeb Dunnuck

"A magical, utterly profound wine in the making, the 2025 Château Montrose is a classic blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc that will spend 18 months in 60% new French oak, with 12% press wine included in the final blend. Pure cassis, graphite, liquid violets, and spicy wood define the aromatics, and it's sensationally pure on the palate, with full-bodied richness, beautiful concentration, ripe, polished tannins, incredible class, and a great finish. It reminds me of the 2016 with its finesse... and maybe there's a touch of 1996 here as well."  * Jeb Dunnick
