Impeccable, polished and magnificent wine with a lifespan of 18 years". Crafted from 100% tempranillo, dark fruit rules the roost in this well balanced wine. On the nose macerated plums, black cherries and blackberries intermingle with sweet spices, black pepper, cocoa, vanilla and tobacco leaf from the oak, with hints of cedar wood, earth and graphite also coming through. Intense and concentrated on the palate, it's a powerful, complex and multi-layered wine with high acid, sweet fine-grained tannins, and a long finish." – Jeb Dunnuck

The wine is pure silky, elegance in texture. This is perhaps the most sensuous vintage of Lafite ever produced with its dream texture on the palate. In the mid-palate, the wine shifts from black to red to black fruits before moving to its wave of orange citrus, ending with refreshing mint notes. The purity in the fruits is striking. The over 60-second finish is seamless, which is a good thing, because this wine is so good, you never want it to end. The wine is complete from start to finish." – 8 - 100 Point Perfect Scores!!!      "It features notes of violets and black winter truffle. The structure is seamless, showcasing an excellent mid-palate with vibrancy, refinement, sophisticated touch, and remarkable aftertaste. It is just as captivating as it was when sampled from the barrel. The texture is reminiscent of liquid cashmere." – Izak Litwar - Great Wines from Bordeaux - Tasted: Oct. 2024

Next, it it’s the perfume with its black, blue, and red fruits, incense, curry, flowers, smoke and herbs. Opulent, restrained, elegant and powerful, the wine comes in layers. You can sense the array of exotic spices, mint, blue and black fruits, crushed rocks, black cherries and white pepper on the palate. Full-bodied and dense, the wine somehow remains light on its feet. The end notes, meshing elegance and power bring everything together, as the finish crosses the 60 second mark. This is perhaps even better than the perfect, 2016!" – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: May 2023

On the nose attractive fine oak notes, red cherry, cassis, fine floral components and a hint of exotic spice. The palate is full- bodied, with fine fruit, silky tannins, a hint of nougat, very good freshness, perfectly balanced with cherry and saline nuances on the very long finish, incredibly seductive and inviting, with guaranteed ageing potential. This wine is already so inviting today that you will have to hide it away well or buy a lot of it." * 5 - 100 Point Perfect Scores! Stock up now as it will surly be a highly sought after wine. • Drinking Window: Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 AGC Region: Napa Valley ABV: "This is the darker expression of WRAITH, and I tend to prefer it in 2022. The wine is profoundly soulful and deeply penetrating. It’s boldly rich red and black fruits, warming spices, and sinewy tannins unfold in mesmerizing precision, flooding the palate with the most succulent, umami, and lush textures. The WRAITH Holy Quest is a barrel selection that embodies Jayson Woodbridge’s personal journey to fuse his life with wine as ‘a bodyguard, a protector—like body armour—shielding you from the buffeting forces of life.’ During my tasting with him in 2024, he offered this detailed explanation of Holy Quest: ‘[This is] a small, rare portion of WRAITH, [which is a wine] based on the legend of the Knights Templar. On Friday the 13th, the Templars were betrayed and extinguished by the corrupt French King and Pope. These knights, protectors of the realm, wore the Armour of Light. Still, as they prepared to create immortals, they forged the Armour of Night—allowing them to become vaporous at night, solid during the day, and safe only within the sanctity of Templar churches. The WRAITH label speaks to this secret, explaining how only two Templars can pass through the hidden seal—read the label closely." - (JC) Decanter January 2025

"The 2025 Canon is a total stunner. Deep and sumptuous in the glass, it offers tons of the vintage's textural intensity along with all the vibrant, saline energy that is such a signature here. Dark-fleshed fruit, mocha, new leather, herbs and dried flowers build gradually in the glass, leading to a huge, dramatic finish laced with hints of blood orange, pomegranate and chalk. The interplay of finesse and power is dazzling. Tasted two times." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"The 2025 Chateau Cheval Blanc stands out once again as among the finest wines of the vintage in Bordeaux. Wafting from the glass with a deep bouquet of dark berries and cherries mingled with notions of blood orange and iris, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with terrific mid-palate density, sweet tannins and a long, vibrant, violet-inflected finish. With its striking aromas, intensity of flavor and resolutely classical proportions (checking in at 12.7% alcohol and pH of 3.76), the 2025 gives every indication of being one of the great Cheval Blanc's of the decade." - William Kelley
