Notes of dried figs, tomato leaves and blackberry leaves. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins that are polished and so attractive. Refined and caressing in the finish. Structured tannins at the end. Very drinkable and enjoyable now. Slightly low alcohol this year. Why wait?" *James Suckling - Tasted February 2024
  • Drinking Window: 2025-2035 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 96 TA Region: Mendoza ABV: 15.0% "Dark chocolate, blackberries, graphite, mineral, cigar box, pencil shaving and a touch of black pepper. Layered and complex, showing good finesse and well-judged ripeness from this vintage. On the palate, it is full, juicy and structured, with firm, mealy tannins and an extensive finish. A year where this Alto managed to show good drinkability. Quite refined from a more challengingly dry and warm vintage with a touch of Bordeaux bearing. 80% malbec, of which 56% comes from Las Compuertas of Lujan de Cuyo and 24% from Campo de los Andes of Uco. 20% cabernet sauvignon from El Cepillo of Uco. Drink or hold." *James Suckling - Tasted: January 2024
  • Drinking Window: 2028 - 2082 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 WI Region: Australia ABV: 14.5% "A robust Grange from a lauded vintage, this wields sheer power with such compelling prowess. Uncompromising Grange. There are rich blackberries and plums on offer, together with brazen oak and abundant notes of blackcurrants, black cherries, charcoal, cola and hard brown spices. So fleshy and intense. Dark-chocolate and cocoa-powder aromas and flavors here, too. The tannins are polished and long, extruding deep into the finish and holding endlessly. Dark chocolate, black cherry, dark plum and more. Impressive. Brazen. One of the great Granges that will drink magnificently for decades to come." * James Suckling - Tasted: June 2022
