An intensity of color that matches the intensity you taste, and feel, here you find a wine that coats your palate with its multiple layers of rich , dark, deep, black and dark red fruits coupled with smoke, tobacco, Cuban cigars, spice, dark chocolate, and burning oak embers. This incredible wine is perfectly poised on the corner of power, and intensity with an almost, endless, seamless, regal, and refined finish." – Jeff Leve, the Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: Mar. 2023

The wine is pure silky, elegance in texture. This is perhaps the most sensuous vintage of Lafite ever produced with its dream texture on the palate. In the mid-palate, the wine shifts from black to red to black fruits before moving to its wave of orange citrus, ending with refreshing mint notes. The purity in the fruits is striking. The over 60-second finish is seamless, which is a good thing, because this wine is so good, you never want it to end. The wine is complete from start to finish." – 8 - 100 Point Perfect Scores!!!      "It features notes of violets and black winter truffle. The structure is seamless, showcasing an excellent mid-palate with vibrancy, refinement, sophisticated touch, and remarkable aftertaste. It is just as captivating as it was when sampled from the barrel. The texture is reminiscent of liquid cashmere." – Izak Litwar - Great Wines from Bordeaux - Tasted: Oct. 2024

Next, it it’s the perfume with its black, blue, and red fruits, incense, curry, flowers, smoke and herbs. Opulent, restrained, elegant and powerful, the wine comes in layers. You can sense the array of exotic spices, mint, blue and black fruits, crushed rocks, black cherries and white pepper on the palate. Full-bodied and dense, the wine somehow remains light on its feet. The end notes, meshing elegance and power bring everything together, as the finish crosses the 60 second mark. This is perhaps even better than the perfect, 2016!" – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: May 2023

On the nose attractive fine oak notes, red cherry, cassis, fine floral components and a hint of exotic spice. The palate is full- bodied, with fine fruit, silky tannins, a hint of nougat, very good freshness, perfectly balanced with cherry and saline nuances on the very long finish, incredibly seductive and inviting, with guaranteed ageing potential. "The 2025 Canon is a total stunner. Deep and sumptuous in the glass, it offers tons of the vintage's textural intensity along with all the vibrant, saline energy that is such a signature here. Dark-fleshed fruit, mocha, new leather, herbs and dried flowers build gradually in the glass, leading to a huge, dramatic finish laced with hints of blood orange, pomegranate and chalk. The interplay of finesse and power is dazzling. Tasted two times." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous

"The 2025 Chateau Cheval Blanc stands out once again as among the finest wines of the vintage in Bordeaux. Wafting from the glass with a deep bouquet of dark berries and cherries mingled with notions of blood orange and iris, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with terrific mid-palate density, sweet tannins and a long, vibrant, violet-inflected finish. With its striking aromas, intensity of flavor and resolutely classical proportions (checking in at 12.7% alcohol and pH of 3.76), the 2025 gives every indication of being one of the great Cheval Blanc's of the decade." - William Kelley

"The 2025 Clinet was the earliest picking ever, from September 4, and aged in 60% new oak plus 40% one-year-old barrels. Vintages now have a little more Cabernet Sauvignon, as a hectare of Merlot was uprooted. Now this has a delightful nose, perhaps the most elegant and refined that I have encountered at this stage: vivid red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry scents, neatly embroidered oak, more floral in style. The palate is medium-bodied with chiselled, fine tannins, bright and tensile, exquisite focus, with a peacock's tail on the finish. Quite crystalline on the finish, this is a Clinet that I would like in my cellar. Or at the dinner table. Or in my glass." - Neal Martin, Vinous
