Drinking Window: 2026 - 2065 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 JL, 100 JA Region: Pomerol ABV: 14.9% "The last vintage produced by Pomerol legend, Denis Durantou, (who sadly passed away may 2020), is one of his best. A testament to his devotion to his vineyards, the wine explodes with a gorgeous set of aromatics packed with flowers, chocolate, truffle, plums, black cherries, and wet earth. But it is on the palate where the magic takes place. Incredibly concentrated, rich, ostentations, silky and vibrant, the wine offers incredible purity to the fruit, which is a good thing because the finish is not something you want to loose sight of, as its showy display of chocolate-tinged, dark red fruits, licorice, spice, and black cherries lingers builds and expands. Built to age and evolve, give it some time in the cellar and enjoy it for 3 decades with ease. This is exactly the type of wine Denis Durantou truly loved making, Owners of the beauty should toast him and his years of work at L'Eglise Clinet." – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: March 2022

Drinking Window: 2029 - 2125 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 RP, 100 Falstaff Region: Saint - Emilion ABV: 12.7 %"The 2025 Chateau Cheval Blanc stands out once again as among the finest wines of the vintage in Bordeaux. Wafting from the glass with a deep bouquet of dark berries and cherries mingled with notions of blood orange and iris, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with terrific mid-palate density, sweet tannins and a long, vibrant, violet-inflected finish. With its striking aromas, intensity of flavor and resolutely classical proportions (checking in at 12.7% alcohol and pH of 3.76), the 2025 gives every indication of being one of the great Cheval Blanc's of the decade." - 12 on Order - William Kelley

It's medium to full-bodied with creamy and polished tannins and a savory finish. Turns refinded and focused after the layered fruit. Classic in character, with a caressing texture and balance. Hints of ripe fruit and freshness at the same time." - 12 on Order - Antonio Galloni

Drinking Window: 2033 - 2064 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 99 JD, 99 JS Region: Saint - Estephe ABV: 13.3%"Cassis, currants, smokey tobacco, chocolate, and graphite all define the 2025 Chateau Clos D'Estournel, a powerful, ripe, concentrated beauty based on 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot that's still resting in 50% new barrels. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, intergrated oak, and a great finish. It stays lively, balanced, and remarkbly fresh despite its weight and richness, and I'd happily put this up with the creme de la creme of the vintage." - 24 on Order - Jeb Dunnuck

Creme de cassis, smoked tobacco, liquid violets, iron, and an incredible sense of graphite all define the aromatics of this brilliant, deep, pure, and layered beauty. On the palate, it's full-bodied, inward, and powerfully structured, and reminds me slightly on the 2010 with its deep concentrated style. It has enormous potential." - 24 on Order - Jeb Dunnuck

Drinking Window: 2030 - 2060 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 99 JD Region: Bordeaux ABV: 13.8%"Merlot-heavy blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Chateau Larcis Ducasse sports a dense purple hue as well as incredible aromatics of ripe currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with smokey tobacco, graphite, and crushed stone. Aged in a mix of 225-liter barriques (45%), 500-liter demi-muids (40%), and foudres (15%), it checks in at a 13.8% alcohol with a pH of 3.5. Deep, rich, and full-bodied on the palate, it has a broad, layered mouthfeel, ripe, velvety tannins, and a great finish. It might end up being in the top handful of wines in the vintage." - 12 on Order - Jeb Dunnuck

Eric Kohler mentioned that, unlike 2022, it underwent a longer maceration than usual becuase, after 24 days. he felt the wine was at ease with itself and there was no excess. That comes through completely on the deliriously intoxicating nose, replete with nuanced blackberry, bilberry and estuarine scents, all beautifully defined and seamlessly integrated with 900% new oak that is nade from Lafite's own cooper. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiselled tannins. It is blessed with extraordinary harmony and it is so well balanced that you almost overlook the weight and mineralite towards the finish. Just a dab of graohite lingers on the aftertaste. This is very succinct and refinded Lafite-Rothschild that I suspect will drink earlier than the 2022, yet will age with equal grace in the bottle. I admit that, upon returning to my car, it wa only then I realized what a brilliant wine the 2025 Lafite-Rothschild is destinned to become ." - 36 on Order - Neal Martin

This has a stunning bouquet with exceptionally pure blackberry, cassis and subtle violet scents, the oak seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with finely embroidered tannins, perfect acidity, a touch of cedar and black pepper that dovetails into a peacock's tail finish that "clings" to the mouth. This continues the strongest run from Lynch-Bages since the 1980's and, perhaps with the 2025, it is close to surpassing that." - 6 on Order - Neal Martin

Medium-bodied. Youalmost don't see the tannins, but you know they are there. So silky and endless. It has the core of fruit of the best vinatge. 50% merlot and 50% cabernet franc." - 6 on Order - James Suckling
