"The pureness of fruit is exceptional, with a long and linear palate of wonderfully curated raspberry, cherry and bluebarry aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied. Youalmost don't see the tannins, but you know they are there. So silky and endless. It has the core of fruit of the best vinatge. 50% merlot and 50% cabernet franc." - 6 on Order  - James Suckling

"The 2025 Chateau Cheval Blanc stands out once again as among the finest wines of the vintage in Bordeaux. Wafting from the glass with a deep bouquet of dark berries and cherries mingled with notions of blood orange and iris, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with terrific mid-palate density, sweet tannins and a long, vibrant, violet-inflected finish. With its striking aromas, intensity of flavor and resolutely classical proportions (checking in at 12.7% alcohol and pH of 3.76), the 2025 gives every indication of being one of the great Cheval Blanc's of the decade." - 12 on Order  - William Kelley

"Cassis, currants, smokey tobacco, chocolate, and graphite all define the 2025 Chateau Clos D'Estournel, a powerful, ripe, concentrated beauty based on 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot that's still resting in 50% new barrels. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a pure, layered mouthfeel, intergrated oak, and a great finish. It stays lively, balanced, and remarkbly fresh despite its weight and richness, and I'd happily put this up with the creme de la creme of the vintage." - 24 on Order  - Jeb Dunnuck

Grand, elegant, complex yet discrete. Ample structure with solid mid-palate concentration filling in, making for impressive architecture. Smooth texture of dark chocolate alike tannins. Dark-toned fruit core with layers of density. Finish with lingering salinity adding some dynamic and lift." – Wine Maniacs - Tasted: May 2021

Powerful on the plate, powerful tannins, rather dry style, dark berries on the finish, good acidity, influenced by wood, cocoa on the finish. A Muscle Man!" – Falstaff - Tasted: May 2006

The purity of fruit here is off the charts. The wine is all about silk and velvet textures from that point forward. The finish is so expansive, it feels like it keeps on going, moving across an array of flavors long after you've put the wine where it is supposed to go. This is the best wine yet produced by Jean Phiippe Delmas yet. Bravo!" - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: May 2018
  • Drinking Window: 2026 - 2065 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 JL, 100 JA Region: Pomerol ABV: 14.9% "The last vintage produced by Pomerol legend, Denis Durantou, (who sadly passed away may 2020), is one of his best. A testament to his devotion to his vineyards, the wine explodes with a gorgeous set of aromatics packed with flowers, chocolate, truffle, plums, black cherries, and wet earth. But it is on the palate where the magic takes place. Incredibly concentrated, rich, ostentations, silky and vibrant, the wine offers incredible purity to the fruit, which is a good thing because the finish is not something you want to loose sight of, as its showy display of chocolate-tinged, dark red fruits, licorice, spice, and black cherries lingers builds and expands. Built to age and evolve, give it some time in the cellar and enjoy it for 3 decades with ease. This is exactly the type of wine Denis Durantou truly loved making, Owners of the beauty should toast him and his years of work at L'Eglise Clinet." – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider - Tasted: March 2022

Turns refinded and focused after the layered fruit. Classic in character, with a caressing texture and balance. Hints of ripe fruit and freshness at the same time." - 12 on Order  - Antonio Galloni

The wine is pure silky, elegance in texture. This is perhaps the most sensuous vintage of Lafite ever produced with its dream texture on the palate. In the mid-palate, the wine shifts from black to red to black fruits before moving to its wave of orange citrus, ending with refreshing mint notes. The purity in the fruits is striking. The over 60-second finish is seamless, which is a good thing, because this wine is so good, you never want it to end. The wine is complete from start to finish." – 8 - 100 Point Perfect Scores!!! "Lafite-Rothschild was cropped at 27 hl/ha between September 2 and 20. Eric Kohler mentioned that, unlike 2022, it underwent a longer maceration than usual becuase, after 24 days. he felt the wine was at ease with itself and there was no excess. That comes through completely on the deliriously intoxicating nose, replete with nuanced blackberry, bilberry and estuarine scents, all beautifully defined and seamlessly integrated with 900% new oak that is nade from Lafite's own cooper. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiselled tannins. It is blessed with extraordinary harmony and it is so well balanced that you almost overlook the weight and mineralite towards the finish. Just a dab of graohite lingers on the aftertaste. This is very succinct and refinded Lafite-Rothschild that I suspect will drink earlier than the 2022, yet will age with equal grace in the bottle. I admit that, upon returning to my car, it wa only then I realized what a brilliant wine the 2025 Lafite-Rothschild is destinned to become ." - 36 on Order  - Neal Martin

"Merlot-heavy blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Chateau Larcis Ducasse sports a dense purple hue as well as incredible aromatics of ripe currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with smokey tobacco, graphite, and crushed stone. Aged in a mix of 225-liter barriques (45%), 500-liter demi-muids (40%), and foudres (15%), it checks in at a 13.8% alcohol with a pH of 3.5. Deep, rich, and full-bodied on the palate, it has a broad, layered mouthfeel, ripe, velvety tannins, and a great finish. It might end up being in the top handful of wines in the vintage." - 12 on Order  - Jeb Dunnuck

Creme de cassis, smoked tobacco, liquid violets, iron, and an incredible sense of graphite all define the aromatics of this brilliant, deep, pure, and layered beauty. Next, it it’s the perfume with its black, blue, and red fruits, incense, curry, flowers, smoke and herbs. Opulent, restrained, elegant and powerful, the wine comes in layers. You can sense the array of exotic spices, mint, blue and black fruits, crushed rocks, black cherries and white pepper on the palate. Full-bodied and dense, the wine somehow remains light on its feet. "The 2025 Lynch-Bages was picked 9 to 21 September and matured in 75% new oak barrels. This has a stunning bouquet with exceptionally pure blackberry, cassis and subtle violet scents, the oak seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with finely embroidered tannins, perfect acidity, a touch of cedar and black pepper that dovetails into a peacock's tail finish that "clings" to the mouth. This continues the strongest run from Lynch-Bages since the 1980's and, perhaps with the 2025, it is close to surpassing that." - 6 on Order  - Neal Martin

"One of the most refinded and seamless wines of the vintage is the 2025 Palmer, a blend of 55% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot that wafts from the glasswith aromas of sweet blackberries, plums and licorice complemented by floral accents of violet and wisteria. Full-bodied, suave and layered, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit, brightacid and supple tannins, it's already harmonious and complete, concluding with a long, penetrating finish.
