The aromas are restrained and creamy with pear fruit & hints of vanilla. The palate is dry, rich & full bodied. The wine has a pungent salinity a rounded texture and a core of Tropical fruit. Ripe pear aromas give way to rich vanilla as the palate opens, Alcohol adds a touch of warmth and roundness, but is balanced by the ripe fruit. The finish is beautifully poised with pure fruit & mineral acidity leaving a distinct lingering sapidity at the end of the finish." - David Allen MW

Drinking Window: 2028 - 2065 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 RP Region: Saint-Emilion Grand Cru ABV: 13.5 - 13.9%"Picked between August 28 and September 25 (surely one of the broadest ranges in Bordeaux this year, but logical considering the estate's different altitudes and aspects), the 2025 Troplong Mondot is one of the wines of the vintage. Exhibiting a deep bouquet of blackberries and plums complemented by floral accents of lilac, iris and subtle spices, it's full-bodied, deep and dense, with a brooding core of fruit girdled by bright acids and sweet but abundant tannins. It will rival the 2022, though in vintage signature the two years are very different." - William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Drinking Window: Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 WI, 100 AVV, 100 Falstaff Region: Pomerol ABV:" Vivacious, lifted style of Le Pin with layers of silky, velvety, black cherries, licorice, herbs, spices, and orange rind. There is concentrations, opulence, and most importantly, lift, so even with all the weight of the fruit, the wine feels up-beat, and vibrant, with lingering notes of crushed flint, and gravel stones, black plums, cherries, and licorice. The wine offers incredible length and energy wrapping up everything with a soft, but, firm, silky, refined finish." Drinking Window: 2032 - 2065 Size: 750mL Critic Scores: 100 JD Region: Bordeaux ABV: 13.7%"Based on a blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Merlot that's resting in 80% new barrels, the 2025 Château Léoville Las Cases is one of the wines of the vintage and just has an incredible sense of class, balance, purity, and richness. Harvest began on September 5th, the earliest ever for this estate, wrapping up on the 20th. Cassis, graphite, liquid minerality, and freshly sharpened pencil all define the nose, and it's full-bodied on the palate, with a round, layered mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a blockbuster of a finish. If this doesn't make your eyes roll back in your head, nothing will." - Jeb Dunnuck

Medium-bodied with subtle and integrated tannins that run the length of the wine and make you want to drink it. The length and finesse are sublime. A mineral, stone and light cement texture. It grows beautiful in the great finish." - James Suckling

On the palate, this wine is rich, intense, poised between maturity and ripe white fruits. It is a beautifully balanced wine, ready to drink." – Wine Enthusiast - Tasted: Dec. 2024
